About Let California Ring
Welcome to the Let California Ring campaign!
Let California Ring is a public education campaign to open hearts and minds about the freedom to marry and the respect, support, protections, and responsibilities that come with marriage.
Through groundbreaking television ads and videos, an interactive website, a statewide network of volunteers and community leaders, and the contributions and leadership of people like you, the campaign addresses the public's concerns and conflicts about marriage and same-sex couples. It also builds a better understanding of the everyday challenges lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Californians face, and encourages dialogue through individual and public conversations about ways to end exclusion.
The Let California Ring campaign is based on the principle that people should be able to have different beliefs and still be treated fairly. If two people want the responsibility and commitment of marriage, it's no business of government to tell them they can't marry, whether they are gay or straight.
California has a history of working to end exclusion and sets an example for the entire nation. We owe it to families here in California, and to the rest of the country, to create a climate where all people are welcomed, included, and treated fairly, regardless of their differences.
There is no marriage without engagement. Sign up as a supporter of the campaign, watch the Let California Ring video and help spread the word about the freedom to marry. Our goal is to engage at least 1 million Californians in conversations about the freedom to marry - and through those conversations identify 500,000 new supporters. The conversation begins with you.
Before you click to another page, show your commitment to the freedom to marry by signing the Let California Ring pledge. Then ask your friends and family members to do the same. Your support will keep the conversation going - and growing.
Thanks in advance for your help and support in this exciting campaign.
